AI & Sales Targeting Internship
Use Salesforce data and AI tools to decide which companies our new Mid-market and Enterprise teams sell to. Sales leadership reviews your work.
We usually respond within a week
About the internship
We want our sales team to focus on the companies most likely to buy, and you'll find them. Using our Salesforce data on accounts, won deals and contracts, together with AI tools like Claude, you'll work out what our best customers look like and build a target account list for our new Mid-market and Enterprise teams. Sales leadership reviews your work and uses it to decide where our sellers spend their time.
In this role, you will:
Analyze won deals and contracts by industry, size, region, products, contract value and renewals to build a profile of our best customers
Use AI tools to fill in missing industry and segment data for our accounts, check a sample by hand, and prepare fixes for review
Score and rank prospect accounts against that profile, and present the target list to Sales leadership for feedback
Build a simple dashboard showing how our pipeline matches the target profile, plus a short write-up on what you found and where AI helped or fell short
What you'll learn
You'll see how an enterprise software company decides which customers to go after, and you'll get practical experience using AI for real data work, including where it falls short. You'll have weekly 1:1s with your supervisor, monthly check-ins with our VP Finance, and mid-point and final reviews of your personal learning goals.
Who we're looking for
You will thrive here if you:
Are following a bachelor's or master's program, in business, economics, marketing, data analytics or a related field
Have good Excel or Google Sheets skills, work in a careful and structured way, and are curious about using AI tools for data work
Speak and write fluent English
Bonus: experience with Salesforce, SQL or Python (not required)

Four offices, one loop: pick up a signal, work out what it means, decide what to do with it.

About Datamaran
Datamaran is the AI-powered governance platform for enterprise.
Regulations change. Stakeholders shift. Markets move. Large organizations are expected to hold a clear, defensible position on all of it, and most still get there through slow manual work on fragmented signals.
We turn regulatory, stakeholder and market signals into intelligence that leadership teams can act on, built on 12+ years of expertise in non-financial risk. Risk, legal, compliance, sustainability and corporate affairs teams at Bridgestone, Dell, Cisco, Kraft Heinz and PepsiCo use Datamaran to decide what matters, and to stand behind that decision afterwards.
We are 104 people across the UK, US, Spain and the Netherlands.
Know what's coming. Act on it.
