About the internship
Datamaran's research and content programme is built on data, and you'll help collect and analyse it. You'll join our research team to track ESG trends, emerging sustainability shifts and industry best practices. Your analysis will feed straight into the weekly regulatory updates, monthly research reports and quarterly policy briefs we publish.
In this role, you will:
Collect and analyse data from corporate sustainability reports to spot key trends, challenges and opportunities for businesses
Turn your analysis into actionable insights and recommendations for our weekly updates, monthly reports and quarterly policy briefs
Work with our technology and research teams to improve how sustainability data is integrated into our internal tools and platforms
Contribute to internal reports and presentations that summarise key findings
What you'll learn
You'll learn how corporate sustainability and ESG regulation work in practice, and how to turn raw data into published research. You'll get training in data collection, analysis and content creation, with weekly team meetings and regular 1:1s with your manager.
Who we're looking for
You will thrive here if you:
Are following a bachelor or master programme, in sustainability, environmental science, business, economics or a related field
Have strong analytical and research skills, can summarise complex information clearly, and work in a self-motivated, detail-oriented way
Speak and write fluent English
Are comfortable with Excel, Word and PowerPoint; knowledge of CSRD or data analysis tools is a plus

Monthly stipend
€750 per month at 40 hours a week, pro-rated for fewer hours.
