Internships
Real work at the AI-powered governance platform for enterprise. Five months on a project that gets used, with people who teach you and expect you to contribute.
We usually respond within a week
20 to 40 hours a week, starting 1 February 2027 for about five months. Leeuwarden, one to two days a week in the office.
The work
You will help run Harbor, our community, from day to day. That means keeping its reporting and trackers accurate, getting event and lifecycle emails planned, tested and sent on time, and making the visuals that go with them. The marketing team uses your reports to decide what to do next in the community, and your emails and visuals go out to real members.
What you will do
Build and maintain a clear reporting setup for Harbor’s engagement, growth and content performance
Keep dashboards, the content calendar, project trackers and KPI trackers accurate every week
Plan, schedule and test event and lifecycle emails until they are ready to send
Create and adapt visual assets for Harbor content, events, emails and the platform, using our new brand identity
What you will learn
How community and lifecycle marketing work inside a B2B AI SaaS company, from reading engagement data to shipping the emails that act on it. You will leave with published emails and visuals you contributed to directly.
A note from Marco
I like to start each week with a short 1:1 where we look at priorities together, and then I give you room to get on with it. I will give you direct feedback on your work, and I expect you to ask questions early rather than guess. After five months, you will have set up reporting the team relies on, sent emails to our community and built a portfolio of real work. If you want to spend all your time on creative ideas and find spreadsheets tedious, this role will frustrate you, because a lot of the value is in getting the details right.
Who we are looking for
You will thrive here if you:
Are following a bachelor or master program, in marketing, communication or a related field
Are comfortable with data in Google Sheets or Excel and notice when a number looks wrong
Stay organized across several trackers and deadlines at once
Speak and write fluent English
Nice to have: experience with an email marketing platform, Canva or Figma.
Who you will talk to
Elske reads every internship application and answers questions before you apply: elske.debruin@datamaran.com. Then a conversation with Marco Coluccino and a short assessment of no more than an hour.
One thing to know
The team reports from the trackers you keep, so you will need to get the details right every week, not just most weeks.

About Datamaran
Datamaran is the AI-powered governance platform for enterprise.
Regulations change. Stakeholders shift. Markets move. Large organizations are expected to hold a clear, defensible position on all of it, and most still get there through slow manual work on fragmented signals.
We turn regulatory, stakeholder and market signals into intelligence that leadership teams can act on, built on 12+ years of expertise in non-financial risk. Risk, legal, compliance, sustainability and corporate affairs teams at Bridgestone, Dell, Cisco, Kraft Heinz and PepsiCo use Datamaran to decide what matters, and to stand behind that decision afterwards.
We are 104 people across the UK, US, Spain and the Netherlands.
Know what's coming. Act on it.
